PRACTISE NURSE

Pat Manning

We have two practice nurses Pat Manning and Lyn Hudson. In their clinics they see patients to monitor high blood pressure, asthma and chronic chest problems, diabetes. They also perform cervical smears, travel immunizations and give general advice on healthy living. Appointments to see them can be made directly at reception

DISTRICT NURSE

Debbie Bostock, Vicky Dennis, Sue Manders - Health Care Assistant They carry out nursing duties such as dressings and injections in the patient’s own home for those unable to attend the surgery. A message can be left at reception if you wish to contact them.

COMMUNITY MATRON

Rachel Wilkinson - is attached to our practice as community matron. Rachel has special expertise in managing chronic conditions such as chest problems, heart failure and diabetes and visits patients at home to help them manage their problem in the best possible way. If you wish to contact Rachel a message can be left at reception

HEALTH VISITOR

Laura Holmes - help support our under 5s and their parents. They hold weekly baby clinics, vaccination clinics and child development assessment clinics at the surgery. They can usually be contacted between 09.00 – 09.45 and 16.00 – 17.00 on 01773 530400. Alternatively a message can be left with the receptionists

MIDWIFE

MIDWIFEJAYNEMILHOUSE1a

Jayne Milhouse - is our midwife. She runs weekly antenatal clinics, holds relaxation classes for expectant mothers as well as visiting mothers at home during the first two weeks after delivery

COUNSELLOR

Ann Ryan - provides counselling for those patients with psychological, personal or relationship problems. If you would like to know more about this you should speak to one of the doctors about it
